For obvious reasons, giving birth to Kensington was life changing. In an instant I became obsessed with this little human that had been bestowed upon me. I couldn’t stop looking at her, thinking about her, dreaming about her. My whole world changed. Just like that. It was no longer about me, or Sean. It was now about her. About us.

Until she was born, my engagement ring and wedding band were the only rings that I wore on a daily basis, but after she arrived, I wanted an additional piece to commemorate what would likely be the most important moment of my life. I have no problem with the occasional splurge, but for her, I wanted something simple and beautiful. Something that would last forever so that some day I could give it to her. When I found this letter ring from Mejuri, I knew that I had found the perfect piece. Its handcrafted in 14k solid gold, set with her initial, K. I wear it all the time and when I look at it, I’m reminded of how much she means to me and the beautiful life and love that brought us together.

To all of the mamas out there, did get yourself a personal #pushpresent? If so, what did you get or what do you plan to get?
